The rapid development regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak constitute great challenges for all of us. It has now evolved into a global concern since we reported on our situation in China in the Year End Report 2019 in February.

Initially, our site in China was completely closed, which of course affected our operations but above all our employees’ everyday lives. The China operation is up and running again, and we have managed to stay healthy and productive.

Like many companies, we have taken aggressive and proactive actions to mitigate risk and keep our teams healthy while maintaining business continuity. We have cancelled travel plans, meetings and events and restricted external visitors. We have shifted some employees to working remotely. We have also strengthened our already rigorous hygiene and safety routines and expanded with new restrictions and recommendations at all sites to ensure that our teams work safely. All sites are continuing manufacturing important products for our customers and the global healthcare market.

We follow the situation on a daily basis on all three continents in which we operate. Staying in close contact with our customers is always very important to us and in the current circumstances this becomes even more important in order to meet the dynamic needs.

Our highest priority is to ensure the safety and health of our employees, and to effectively meet the potentially changing business demands. If you have any requirements or suggestions on how we can support you and your team during the coming weeks, please do not hesitate contact us.
