We constantly collect feedback from our customers and use it to optimize our products. Now we are introducing three new dental products to our Elos Accurate product family: Two improved Hybrid Bases and one Analogue for 3D-printed models. For the curious one, this blog post will provide a brief introduction to our new products.

Achieve highly aesthetic dental restorations

The market demand increases both in terms of cost and efficiency – and above all – aesthetic outcome. This is why we have chosen to further develop our Elos Accurate Hybrid Base. It has been given new features such as a golden surface and angulation possibilities up to 28°. We now call it Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Engaging.

Advantages of Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Engaging

Soft tissue management is a key success factor in achieving the best aesthetic outcome. When using Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Engaging with a customised inner core, you can make a correct emergence profile and adapt the gingival height and colour to the specific patient circumstances to achieve a highly aesthetic result. You can create screw-retained as well as cement-retained crowns and bridges for temporary or permanent use.

Dental bridge construction with simplified cementation and try-in

In 2016, we launched our first hybrid base for bridge constructions. It has been much appreciated in the market, especially by dental professionals using a digital workflow. This is why we chose to further develop our Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Bridge, now named Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Non-Engaging.

Advantages of Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Non-Engaging

The two antennas at the top of the hybrid base are characteristic for Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Non-Engaging. They clamp the hybrid base into the supraconstruction so that all hybrid bases can be mounted on the model and cemented – all at once – in the correct position. This is a safe and time-efficient cementing procedure. If you prefer to do a try-in on the patient, this feature also comes in handy as the supraconstruction will clamp the hybrid bases and you don’t need to hold on to them or use temporary cement.

The most important thing when working on multiple implants is a passive and perfect fit between the construction and the implants or abutments. With Elos Accurate Hybrid Base Non-Engaging, this is ensured thanks to the conical shape and the pre-set cement space in the Elos Accurate Library. The connection design of the hybrid base allows for a maximum of 30 degrees deviation between the implants.

New analogue designed for 3D-printed models

With more dental technicians printing their models in-house, the market needs good implant analogues specifically designed for high accuracy in 3D printed models. This is why we invented the Elos Accurate Analogue for Printed Models. It is given features like self-centring installation, no risk of misplacement in the model, and the ability to torque the prosthetic screw to 35 Ncm on the model.

Advantages of Elos Accurate Analogue for Printed Models

Elos Accurate Model Analogue for printed Models is designed to allow for larger tolerances in the models. It is characterised by the insertion method of being pulled down from the underside of the model, using an insertion pin and pliers.
